Who We Are
The Pierson Company is a Maine-based real estate development and construction management corporation founded by David Pierson and Brenda Garrand, a husband-and-wife team who have lived and worked in Maine since graduating from Bates College. Recently, their son, Charles Pierson, joined the firm as Managing Partner.
David Pierson, Esq., President

Brenda Garrand, Vice President
• Founded and ran one of Northern New England’s largest marketing communications firms.
• Active volunteer leader having served on the boards of the University of New England, Maine Public Broadcasting, The United Way of Greater Portland, The Mitchell Institute, and The Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority.
Charles Pierson — Managing Partner
• Broad experience in strategy, finance, business planning, and project development.
• Helps organizations evaluate opportunities and develop practical financial and capital plans.
• Leads complex initiatives from early concept through implementation, connecting big-picture goals with the steps needed to achieve them.
• Holds an MBA from HEC Paris, with concentrations in finance and sustainability, and a BA from the University of Toronto's Trinity College.
